Terms of Service

1. Platform Overview

Totzykids International is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of secondhand children's items globally. We act as a platform intermediary — we are not a party to transactions between users, but we provide escrow and buyer protection services.

2. User Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed
• Provide accurate information — false identity is grounds for immediate account removal

3. Listings & Selling

• Only list children's items for ages 0–18 years
• Items must be accurately described — condition, photos and price must be truthful
• Prohibited: counterfeit goods, unsafe/recalled items, adult products, weapons
• You must ship the item within 5 business days of receiving payment confirmation
• Always use tracked shipping and enter tracking information on the platform
• A 4% commission is deducted from the sale price on completion (minimum €0.50)

4. Buying & Payments

• All payments are processed through Stripe and held in escrow
• You agree to confirm receipt of the item once received
• Escrow is auto-released to the seller after 14 days from shipping if you do not respond
• Do not attempt to conduct transactions outside the platform

5. Buyer Protection

You are eligible for a refund if:

• The item is not received within 21 days of payment
• The item is significantly not as described
• The item is damaged or unsafe

Disputes must be opened within 3 days of the expected delivery date. We review all disputes within 48 hours.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Fraud, misrepresentation or deliberate damage to items
• Harassment of other users
• Attempting to circumvent the escrow payment system
• Creating fake reviews or feedback
• Violating any applicable law or regulation

7. Platform Fees

• Listing: Free
• Commission on completed sale: 4% (minimum €0.50)
• Daily Spotlight: from €1.99/day
• Premium Seller (coming soon): €4.99/month

8. Liability

Totzykids International is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of listed items. Our liability is limited to the transaction value in cases where our escrow system has failed.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands, or by the applicable consumer protection authority in your country of residence.
